At Cascavel, we are dedicated to patterns as an art from, where history and innovation converge to create designs that tell stories and add value to our client’s projects.
We work with our private art collection of historical patterns, meticulously restoring and adapting documents from centuries past to bring their beauty into the modern world. These timeless designs are reimagined for contemporary production, ensuring that they continue to inspire and captivate.
In addition to our work with historical patterns, we create our trend based collections, informed by a deep understanding of pop culture and future color trends. Our designs capture both the past and present, each one telling its own unique story.
The Patterns
We love our craft and embrace all stages of creation.
Our designs are informed by contemporary art, trend forecast research and our passion for the old masters. Textiles and patterns have always played a big role in representing our heritage and telling visual stories. We take that task to heart.
In our collections, we look for depth, texture, novelty and symbolism to create rich and culturally relevant patterns that meet our clients’ needs.
The Files
We provide ready-to-use files of seamless repeat patterns in CMYK colour mode at 300 PPI. These are conveniently delivered to our clients in downloadable ZIP folders containing an editable PSD file along with a JPEG.
Our patterns are designed in a seamless repeat format, layered by elements and/or colours for easy customization.
While our textures are also seamless repeat files, they differ in that they feature only one layer.
Our pattern repeat tiles vary in size, ranging from 15x15cm to 50x100cm, depending on the complexity and intention of the design.

Our founders Sophia and David, bring a range of experience to the table, each with a unique background that contributes to the success of the studio.
Sophia, with her keen eye for emerging trends and a passion for timeless aesthetics, has spent years honing her traditional and digital painting skills. On the other hand, David, armed with a rich history in the industry and a knack for blending tradition with innovation, has a deep understanding of what it takes to create patterns that not only capture the current zeitgeist but also transcend fleeting fads.
